Comfortable and cute - Found the 6.5, my usual size, fit just fine, but I like to use foam inserts and needed a 7 for that. Been looking for comfortable, casual boots for a while and love these. Also, got a pair for my daughter in upstate NY, and she loves hers, too. Comfy enough that I can wear them around my cold house and forget they're not slippers. You would need narrow jeans to fit inside top without bunching, but I keep my boot-cut jeans outside.
