Celie - I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of this shoe. I had been looking for a platform spectator that came in black and brown so I ordered both colors when I saw these. The heel is high, but the platform makes it feel like nothing. The bottom of the shoe feels a little slippery on the carpet, but I'm sure once worn outside they will be fine. I will say that they are slightly on the large side. I got my normal size and put heel grips inside, but I'm not sure that if I sized down they would fit.
