Comfort and Beauty. Ordered these in usual 8.5, but they were huge on my feet. I returned them for a size 8, and they are perfect. I've never owned such a comfortable boot, and they are so pretty. I like the shape of them; the heel is just high enough, and it is supportive; the gel pad at the heel adds to their comfort. My daughter wants them, but they do not fit her wide calves (16.5 inches) I have average calves (14 inches), and they fit perfectly. Oh darn! I guess that's ONE pair of shoes I don't have to worry about disappearing from my closet... ALL MINE!!! The boots come with a nice satin drawstring bag for storage and protection of the black suede from dust. I kept the cardboard shaft shapers, and I keep the boots in this bag, and I really appreciate the extra gesture. It is nice. The boots are great, and I can definitely recommend them to anyone who works in an office environment because I've worn my several times, and I kept them on even after I got home from work because they felt great. I would imagine these also would be fine for those who have more active types of jobs.
