Awesome tongue design. I never really thought much about the tongue of the boots I've been wearing over the years until I put this boot on. It's clear that some thought went into designing the tongue; the tongue molds into both the upper and lower parts of the boot providing for a very snug - but not overwhelmingly snug - fit. Also, they chose a very soft leather that flexes without effort - why anyone would design a hard tongue that rests on that (very) sensitive spot where your foot meets your leg is beyond me. But at mile 20, you can routinely feel why that's a bad design. Hope this helps!
